Our Warranty
INSULADD ENERGY COAT (E-COAT)Insulating Elastomeric waterproofing Roof & Wall coating
10 Year Plus Renewable Limited Product Warranty
Tech Traders Inc. hereby warrants that Insuladd E-Coat will perform in a satisfactory manner for waterproofing and insulating walls and roof systems for a period of 10 years from the issue date shown herein. During the 10th year of the application this warranty can be extended for an additional 10 years by taking the following method:
- Clean and inspect the subject area to be recoated to remove any accumulated dirt or debris.
- Apply one coat of Insuladd E-Coat to the subject area at the nominal application rate of 125 sq.ft per gallon (10 mils).
- Apply a second coat of Insuladd E-Coat to the subject area at the nominal application rate of 125 sq.ft per gallon (10 mils) after a recommended 24 hour cure time between coats.
Warranty re-coat or Warranty Renewal: The area re-coated under warranty or the finished re-application of Insuladd E-Coat for Warranty renewal must be inspected by a recognized Insuladd Distributor or his agents prior to the issuance of a 10 year Warranty Extension.
This warranty is solely limited to the replacement (FOB Factory) of sufficient Insuladd E-Coat to repair any areas of failure. The area of product failure must be documented by a recognized Insuladd Distributor or his agent, prior to any warranty replacement of Insuladd E-Coat. Samples of any failed material along with photographs will be required to be sent to Tech Traders Inc. for any warranty claim consideration and This warranty does not apply to failures caused by application to an unsound substrate, to a dirty, chalky, oily or otherwise improperly prepared substrate. This warranty does not cover failure caused by application during inclement weather, freezing conditions, dew or fog damage to an uncured coating or to areas of ponding water.
Tech Traders Inc. shall not be liable for any loss resulting from natural disasters, severe weather events such as but not limited to lightning, windstorm, and earth movements, acts or war or civil disobedience.
Tech Traders Inc. shall not be liable for any damage to the surface or structure to which Insuladd E-Coat has been applied or for any negligence or misuse of Insuladd E-Coat during the application process by the property owner, his agents or contractors.
